Concept

Stability is the most important requirement in a table mount. The joystick and throttle has to stay stable on your desk even under heavy manual force but also needs to be easily removable in a few seconds. Nobody wants big controllers cluttering up the desk.

Design

Automatic Clamp

The fast clamping mechanism on the back is simple, strong and flexible. The table mount can be attached or removed in seconds. Make your desk available for other work easy and quickly.

Clamping force up to 250N.

Attachment to tables with a thickness from 0,5 to 10 cm.

Reviews

  1. The pair of table mounts arrived in an sweet anonymous brown box (Good sign when money goes in to product and not fancy stickers or meaningless box art). The mounts were secured with cardboard and everything was safe and without a scratch upon delivery.

Well unpackaged, all the parts you’ll need is in the package except the allan keys to fasten and adjust the bolts.

Setup required little thinking from my part. I just covered a table with a blanket so the mounts wouldn’t scratch the finish and mounted the plates to the mount using the supplied screws, Then I mounted the Warthog Hotas to the plates and done.

While playing I noticed a difference right away. Before I bought the set I hade my Hotas on my desk which made it tiresome for my shoulders after a while. Since i now could set the height of the joystick and throttle individually i found a perfect placement where my shoulders and neck were relaxed and still having a perfect control of the Hotas.
It felt like the joystick and throttle were a little more responsive and that I could control the ship better. Of course this has to do with mounting the hotas but I really couldn’t go wrong with these mounts.

After 1 week of playing with the mount I can say that I love it. As far as my opinion goes: It’s the best table mount for your hotas that you can get. Main reason for this is: MASS and it has a lot of it.
I had some doubt before I mounted the throttle for the first time if it would really hold the weight since the throttle was building so far away form the desk with only a piece of aluminium and a clamp holding it secure but after setting the right spring tension I just snapped it to place and it stayed floating in the air.

I look forward to Monster Tech will think of next and since it’s modular it’s practically future proof and goes well together with their other products or maybe your own if you have the tools, time and place.

  2. The mount arrived safe, thanks to good packaging. The assembly takes around 5minutes for the 2 mounts and a little bit of brainwork which is fun. It can only be done in one way so you cannot do anything wrong.

I had my doubts about the stability as my desk is a bit weird and the side of the table is not entirely straight. Only about 75% of the clamp holds the whole construct in my case, but the second you attach the mount to the table all your doubts are gone forever.

I’ve been using it for only about a week but I never had to reattach it however it gets quite some punding from me during vicious dogfights.
I guess stability is by far the most important detail and the product absolutely earned my trust!
Besides that it makes your gaming table truly your rig, and it absolutely looks great! Flexibilty is nice, Height adjustment can be done in max. 1minute, the mount does everything to make your setup ergonomic in every possible way.

I’m not an engineer. I had some ideas how to make my own mount but I would never want to place my warthog on something that I made as I would literally scream when I see it fallen on the floor. Buying the product was absolutely my best idea and I can only recommend it!

  3. I’ve been using 3 of these mounts (first generation) for a little over 4 months now – exclusively for Star Citizen – and I’ve got to say this was money well spent.

    Cons:
    – Ergonomics! No more arm cramping after extended flight time. No more imprecision due to non-optimal placement on top of the desk. Once you’ve set them up at a height for your desk and chair you immediately notice a huge improvement in both control and comfort.
    – Quality! These mounts are extremely well made and will absolutely (and sadly) last longer than my Warthog, t16000m and x55 throttle ever will.
    – They’re very easy to mount and remove. Just release the clamp and set them on the floor; I’ve got full access to my desk in seconds.
    – Sturdy! These mounts will not move at all once you’ve clamped them into place. They take the Warthog’s weight and don’t break a sweat.

    10/10 highly recommended.

  4. Love the design, the quality components and the master build! Bought two of the mounts for my Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. They are clamped to a tempered glass table and look boss, feel boss and…..I can’t stop giggling! Well worth the money. Won’t improve my game play but have secured my vote for remaining in the EU referendum. Danke schön to our cousins in Germany for making available this cool piece of kit. 🙂

  5. Bought 2 of these mounts for use with my x52 throttle and joystick. They are super adjustable and very well built. I was hesitant to buy such expensive mounts, but they are well worth the money. I now have an extremely comfortable setup for playing Elite: Dangerous in VR, and I don’t have to worry about my hotas moving around as I play.

I’ve already started recommending these mounts to anyone that will listen to me.

  6. I just received 2 table mounts and plates. No parts were missing. Amazing quality and very heavy duty construction. The amount of adjustments you can make on the table mounts is a huge plus as well. Assembly was simple – I just screwed in the appropriate plate, mounted my stick, and made some minor adjustments. The mounts are built like a tank and the grip is solid on my desktop.

These are great and I would recommend them to anyone wanting finer control of their sim.

  7. Mr Olsen

The clamps arived this morning thank you very much ill send over some pictures, to you an noobifier, Who introduced me to you..Montoya had told me your a testie also wish i new that lol..

  8. Just received my table mount (black) for the TM Warthog Joystick.

Took around 15 days to arrive, from the day of purchase. Items arrived in plain, discreet brown box packaging, and items were well secured, without any visible marks or scratches. Assembly and adjustment is fairly easy, although a bit awkward if you do it alone.

The product itself is AMAZING. The build quality is stelar, incredibly sturdy with no give in any direction, and pretty much instant to attach / remove from desk. Provides me with the best possible position for my arm, with easy adjustments and operation, and allows me to play for hours without straining my arms.

5/5, worth every penny spent on it.

  9. I have had mine for a few months now. Earlier this year (2016), I was searching for some type of mount. At one time I had built my own from office desk supplies I purchased and sort of rebuilt and I did use a band saw and cut wood to make some very decent base platforms. They would even pivot and swing out of the way when not in use. But I didn’t have these any more and I was getting back into it again. By accident I stumbled onto these beautiful custom aluminum machined table clamp mounts by these two cool cats all the way over there in Germany! I am in Central Calif. USA. I took one look and I just had to have them! So I did. One plate arrived slightly bent from shipping. It was packed very well too! Olsen in an instant said sorry and shipped me replacement parts and then some! He took good care of me and now I have what I feel is the best table mounts available for our PC Flight sim HOTAS gear!! Amazing! Pretty!! Solid! Fail proof! I have the set for my Warthog! What can I say?! It’s the coolest addition for this classification of flight sim in the world period! Other applications might get the job done all the same, but this…. Is simply the best in my book!

  10. What a crazy piece of kit this is. It arrived in an unassuming dark brown (recyclable) box that felt as if it was there to protect the other mail from these hunks of aluminium more than to protect the mounts themselves. Why do I say that? These are no lightweights, although if the construction was made from something else, I can imagine it being even tougher to lift.

That being said, once they are screwed together, and clamped in place – these things just don’t move anymore. Your mileage will not vary. Set the clamps in the back up, and slam it down on your table (maybe put something inbeween). They will NOT move.

I logged 200 extra hours in Elite Dangerous on these, and it was a godsend to not have the damn stick flopping about all the time. It was amazing to have the stick and throttle adjusted to my hand-height when sitting in my chair, instead of hunching forwards with my shoulders almost leaning on the stick, reaching up.

If you have a stick that is just standing on your table, and you’d really like it to be more secure, get this. It’s definitely worth the cost. Especially since you can just swap out the plates when you upgrade/replace your kit!

Crazy piece of kit, with crazy value.

  11. My desk mounts arrived around 10 days ago, using them to play Elite Dangerous with a Saitek X52 Pro stick and throttle. I live in the states – ordered on 12/16, Monster shipped on 12/22, arrived on 1/18. Not too bad considering the holidays.

These mounts are awesome! The adjustability in height, rotation angle options on the xy plane (as in not level with the floor), and the ability to “twist” the stick throttle in any position through a wide arc results in a highly flexible system that should fit any ergonomic need. The mounts are solid (and fairly heavy); once clamped down they don’t move at all, but are easy to unclamp to try a new position. The day they arrived I spent about two hours trying many different positions and angle while flying around a combat zone. Lots of options, easy to adjust; I settled on parallel to the floor, fairly close together, with both the stick and throttle twisted away from me by a couple degrees.

Before the mounts arrived I was playing with both the stick and throttle on my desk – totally uncomfortable with shoulders pulled forward and the keyboard out of reach. The desk mounts position is comfortable and natural but also more immersive. It feels like I’m flying the ship instead of fighting to control it. And since the stick and throttle are screwed into the mounting plates they don’t pop off the table when pulling on the stick, or slide around when going evasive (the X52 comes with suction cups but they don’t get the job done). I did end up adding mouse tray that I positioned to the outside of stick. Ideally I’d add a keyboard tray to position the keyboard between the stick and throttle, but probably not enough space. Not that the keyboard and mouse are used much in ED.

If you’re playing any kind of flight sim game and can afford these go for it – totally worth the investment and should last forever. Remember you can swap out the plates if you change sticks. Brilliant engineering, industrial durability.
